In 1999, Jill Stanek was working as a nurse at Christ Hospital in Oaklawn. She was shocked to learn a hospital bearing the name “Christ” would perform abortions. She later learned that this hospital was performing not only “typical” abortions, but babies were also being delivered and then allowed to die, with no care being provided.

In the beginning, these babies were taken to a Soiled Utility Room to die. Later, the hospital misusing the name “Christ” established a Comfort Room, even providing a camera for families to take pictures of the baby they were allowing to die. The seeming tenderness of these provisions is truly sickening, given the reason for the death of these innocents.
