America Prays: A Call to Rededication Ahead of America’s 250th Birthday

In anticipation of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026, President Donald J. Trump has launched an initiative called “America Prays.” The effort calls citizens to “prayer and rededication of the United States as One Nation Under God.”

The White House has encouraged prayer groups to organize around key themes—such as intercession for government leaders, cultural renewal, the protection of freedom, and the strengthening of families. Members are also invited to commit to daily prayer for a specific person or issue.
